The original Center X Production show is entitled "Speed of Sound". After listening to the music

I was convinced that this was a good music choice for Hamilton this year, but I felt that the original show design "Speed of Sound" was not a good fit for Hamilton. Listening to the music time and time again, I started to realize the connection between the Music and New York City. Having visited New York for the first time a couple of years ago, I remember being overwhelmed with the experience. This is where the plot and visual imagery started to develop. Through many meetings, the staff have focused the intent of the music to identify with the Big City, and now I cannot hear the music without its' great visual connection to New York. The staff is on a roll with ideas to make this coming year an outstanding experience for the students, parents, and the audience. Due to copyright laws, we are not allowed to show the slide show presentation (that was shown at the parent meeting) on this website, but if you would like to hear the original music, you can find it through the link below.
